After facing death countless times over, your body has adapted to taking deadly blows.
- You gain a permanent +1 to your constitution ability score.
- Once per long rest, whenever you take enough damage to reduce your health to 0 or lower, subtract your current health from the total damage you have received. Roll a d20 + your constitution modifier - this roll will be made against the remaining total damage. If your roll exceeds this number, you miraculously survive the attack. If your roll fails, you are knocked out as you normally would be.
- Every time you are knocked out, you can choose from one of two Death-Defying choices on your next turn:
Death-Defying - Borne Vitality: Your knack for taking a beating has granted you a well-earned edge when up against the odds. You can fill in your first saving throw slot as a success without having to make any roll.
Death-Defying - Tempt Fate: Your body's resilience allows you to tempt fate to your favour. You can roll your first saving throw with advantage.
