A strange gift empowers your gift of song, allowing you to pull forth stories from lives long past...
Once per long rest, touching a piece of culture or history, or the belongings of a person, allows you to sing about this place or person - almost as if you lived through it yourself and can now tell the tale, although you won't know what the song contains before singing it.
Upon reaching further training, you gain more control of the ability. You are able to discern the contents of the song before you sing it. Additionally, you can make an ability check with your spellcasting modifier with a DC equal to 10+ the creature's CHA modifier (0 if researching a location.) If you succeed, you learn the following:
- The creature or location's most commonly-used name.
- The nature of the creature or location.
If the check is passed by more than 7:
- A grand achievement that either happened at the location or done by the creature.
