If the DM decides to eliminate the need to use a bonus action for an offhand attack, this feat gives the character one additional attack, for a total of three without the need for the Extra Attack feature.
(If the Extra Attack feature is gained, the PC can only gain one additional attack. In addition to this rule, only one additional attack is granted when used with Action Surge.
