I Think I Know This Place Image
Prerequisite: Bard, or at least a Charisma score of 14

During your travels, you've learned quite a bit about the world around you and have gained quite a lot of random (if, often, useless) information and trivia about the world. With this feat, you gain the following:

  • Increase your History score by 1.
  • Advantage on rolls used to locate landmarks, cities, or well-known points of interest (this does not apply to general Perception or Survival checks).
  • When approaching a never-before-visited location, the player can choose to make a roll against the table below to see if they "know the place".
Roll Effect
1 You actively believe a falsehood about the location, as determined by the GM.
2-9 You're unfamiliar with the location.
10-19 You know the location, and are familiar with an individual in the location that will be friendly to the party and grant them aid. Who this is, or how they've come to be in the location (including how the person using the feat knows the individual is there) is up to the player.
20 You know the location well, and can declare a single fact about the location that the DM will need to incorporate into the game.
