You are well-traveled and knowledgeable in all kinds of legends and lore - unfortunately, you sometimes get the whole fact and fiction thing mixed up when recalling this knowledge or subconsciously make things up when you can't think of anything better.

• The DC of all Arcana, History, Nature, or Religion knowledge checks are reduced by an amount equal to your CHA modifier. If your knowledge check succeeds with this reduction but does not meet or exceed the original DC the DM makes note of the difference and rolls 1D8 secretly. If the result is equal to or less than the noted amount some of the information you provide is false.

*For example, Ryndall attempts to make a DC20 Knowledge(History) check, which is reduced to DC16 with by his +4 CHA, and gets a 17. The DM then notes the difference of 3 (20-17) and rolls 1D8. On a result of 3 or less Ryndall gets some of the details wrong as his relied too much on legends, hearsay, or the subconscious need to know the answer than on solid facts.
