Alchemical Shortcuts

Through impatience or necessity, you have learned to cut corners in the alchemical process. You gain the following benefits:

• You gain proficiency with Alchemist's Supplies. If you are already proficient with them, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with them.
• If you fail your skill check to harvest raw alchemical materials by a number equal to or less than your proficiency bonus, you automatically succeed instead. When this happens, you only collect half as much raw materials, and any organic matter harvested in this way spoils twice as fast as normal.
• If you choose, you can craft alchemical solutions in half the time it would normally take. Solutions crafted in this way are unstable and only remain potent for a number of hours equal to your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier.
