Prerequisite: Warlock with the ability to cast at least one spell Medium Armor
When taking this feat, coordinate with your DM to complete a task your patron requires of you. After completing this task, the following feat is unlocked for use:
Your patron is pleased, and grants you new combat powers breaking previous limitations. After finishing a long rest, you may have this power posses an armor, which becomes be your Eldritch Armor. All Eldritch Armor feat affects are reset when possessing your eldritch armor, but you must roll for a parasitic episode. This armor when equipped, grants enhanced defensive capabilities, but at great costs:
- There is no penalty to stealth in any medium armor.
- The maximum AC bonus from DEX increases by 1 to a maximum of +3, while wearing medium armor.
- As long as you're wearing armor, when a hostile creature's movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to cast Eldritch Blast at the creature, rather than making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.
Your eldritch connection is stunted by this effect. You can't gain more then 2 Eldritch Invocations that have a level prerequisite. If you ever do not meet this requirement, you must change out any number of eldritch invocations that are preventing you from meeting this requirement immediately.
This eldritch power is partially parasitic. When you take this feat, your STR, CON, or DEX score decreases by 1, but can't be reduced below 1.
Your armor is coated in eldritch energy, and costs twice the normal cost in gold and resources it would take to repair, and cannot be enhanced further.
After finishing a long rest, you may now suffer from a Parasitic Episodes. After a long rest, roll a d20, DC8: - On a failure - Eldritch Armor loses one of the following effects of your choice:
- There is no penalty to stealth in any medium armor.
- The maximum AC bonus from DEX increases by 1 to a maximum of +3, while wearing medium armor.
- As long as you're wearing armor, when a hostile creature's movement provokes an opportunity attack from you, you can use your reaction to cast a spell at the creature, rather than making an opportunity attack. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and must target only that creature.
- On a success - Eldritch Armor restores all lost feat effects.
