You have horrifying luck that seems to kick in at all the wrong moments.
- You have 3 bad luck points. Whenever you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, your DM can spend one bad luck point to roll an additional d20. They can choose to spend one of your bad luck points after you roll the die, but before the outcome is determined. They choose which of the d20s is used for the attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.
- They can also spend one bad luck point when an attack roll is made against an enemy. Roll a d20, and the higher result of the two dice is used. If more than one creature spends a bad luck point to influence the outcome of a roll, the points stack and an amount of d20s equal to the number of expended bad luck points are rolled with the roll that gives the worst outcome being used.
- You regain your expended bad luck points when you finish a long rest.
