The Instrument Craftsman feat grants the ability to craft a specific class of instrument. Choose one of the following: Percussion, String, Woodwind, Brass. Taking this feat multiple times grants the ability to craft another class of instrument. This feat grants the ability to use various tool sets for crafting instruments only.
To craft an instrument, spend gp for materials equal to the quality of the instrument desired, then spend the required amount of time, working 8 hours per day, to complete the instrument. Instruments will usually sell for 100%-500% increase in price over cost, although masterworks are usually commissioned at a much higher price.
