Prerequisite: Requires a Strength or Dexterity score of 13 or higher
Whip in your hands isn't a weapon or a tool, it's extension of your body. You gain the following benefits:
- You gain proficiency in whips, if you don't have one.
- When a creature enters your range, you can use reaction to make one attack. If it hits and a creature is one size larger than you or smaller, you may attempt to Grapple them, knock them Prone, Pull tem closer to you by 5 feet or Disarm them of an item you can see them holding. The hit creature must succeed on DC (8 + proficiency bonus + STR/DEX) STR saving throw to avoid chosen condition. Moreover you can use one of these effects by spending bonus action when you have hit a creature using an attack action.
- Using a whip, you may gain advantage on any Athetics or Acrobatics skill checks that require you to leap over chasm or otherwise treacherous space provided you can anchor the whip to a fulcrum point you can swing from. Doing so grants you an additional 10 feet of potential jumping distance.
It's not part of the feat, but I insist on using following house rule depending prone condition with it:
An attack roll against the creature has advantage if the attacker is within 5 feet of the creature or attacker is using melee weapon with reach.
