Trained Combatant

After surviving basic training you moved on to real life combat, gaining ranks as you go.

Starting with Private, these feats can be taken only if the PC has the associated specialty of the Combat Trainee background and the prior level of this feat.

Private(L4) - 1 Feat, Cantrip Based Feat (Used as a feat not a spell)
Sergeant(L8) - 1 L1 Spell Based Feat (Used as a feat not a spell), +1Superiority Die
Lieutenant(L12) - 1 Feat, Class Benefit
Major(L16) -  1 L2 Spell Based Feat (Used as a feat not a spell),  +1 Superiority Die
Colonel(L19) - 1 Feat, +1 Superiority Die,  +1 Class Benefit use

Infantry:
Feats: Athlete(No ASI), Sentinel, Tough, Savage Attacker
Spell Based Feat: Green Flame Blade (Proficiency per long rest); Heroisim, Sanctuary, Enhance Ability(bear, bull or cat on self) (1 per long rest)
Class Benefit: 2 rounds of Rage (1 per long rest)

Artillery:
Feats: Crossbow Expert , Sharpshooter, Defensive Duelist, Piercer(No ASI)
Spell Based Feat: Mind Sliver (Proficiency per long rest); Bane, Cause Fear, Fortunes Favor(to defend) (1 per long rest)
Class Benefit: Sneak Attack (2 per long rest)

Calvary:
Feats: Charger, Mounted Combatant, Heavy Armor Master(No ASI), Great Weapon Master
Spell Based Feat: Resistant (Proficiency/long rest); Beast Bond, Shield of Faith, Find Stead, Enhance Ability(eagle, fox or owl on self)(1/long rest)
Class Benefit :  2 rounds Favored Foe  (1 per long rest)

Medic:
Feats: Healer, Mobile, Durable(No ASI), Crusher(No ASI)
Spells Based Feat: Spare the Dying (Proficiency per long rest); Healing Word, Cure Wounds, Aid, Lesser Restoration (1 per long rest)
Class Benefit :  5 Lay on Hands points (1 per long rest)

Recon:
Feats:  Alert, Skulker, Medium Armor Master,  Slasher(No ASI)
Spells Based Feat: True Strike (Proficiency per long rest); Zypher Strike, Longstrider, Find Trap, Pass Without Trace (1 per long rest)
Class Benefit : 1 Step of the Wind (1 per long rest)
