Frontier Guide

You have honed your skills in navigating the wilderness, particularly when guiding others. You gain the following benefits:

• You gain proficiency with cartographer's tools. If you are already proficient with them, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with them.
• You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks made while navigating when you possess a map of the area.
• As part of a short or long rest, whenever you spend time studying a regional map you possess, you can add your Intelligence modifier (minimum of 1) to any Wisdom (Survival) checks made to plot the best route through the wilderness. On a success, the time it takes you to travel the route and the chance for a random encounter along that route are both reduced by half.
