Battle Reflexes

You have been training, both outside and inside of combat, and have gained the ability to utilize your reflexes to a minor degree. Choose from one of two applications of your newly found reflexes that you can utilize during combat.

• Mitigation - When hit with a melee weapon attack that you can see, use a reaction to block the damage you would normally take by 1d8+DEX mod. This can be used once per round so long as you have no levels of exhaustion.
• Retaliation - When hit with a melee weapon attack that you can see, use a reaction to quickly strike the enemy that dealt damage to you. Deal 1d6+DEX mod bludgeoning damage to the target should you hit.

In addition, when you take this feat you also:

• Increase DEX score by 1 up to a maximum of 18
