Legendary Bowman

You are the preeminent archer, no one comes close to your skills. Your years of experience with the bow in combat has honed your skills with the bow to the degree that regardless of your enemies location, you are just as good of a shot as if they were at your ideal range, and have developed unconventional combat maneuvers while using your bow.

• You can use your bow to make ranged attacks at close quarters. When making a ranged attack while you are within 5 feet of a hostile creature, you do not have disadvantage on the attack roll.
• You have a +1 bonus to attack rolls on ranged attack.
• When equipped with your bow you have a +1 to AC.

You also know how to use your bow and free arm in unconventional ways for reaction responses:

1. When being attacked by another archer, you can use your Reaction to attempt to snatch the incoming arrow. If the shot succeeds on an attack roll (and ordinarily would hit you) make a dexterity check (DC: 17) and if you succeed, you catch the arrow and take no damage.
2. When being targeted by a melee attack you can choose to use your Reaction to immediately use your bow as a melee weapon dealing 1d4 plus either your DEX or STR modifier, bludgeoning damage.
