At 3rd level, your otherworldly patron bestows a gift upon you for your loyal service. This is another option you may choose.
Your Patron gifts you a fragment of it's power made manifest. Usually it takes the form of a belt buckle, locket, brooch, or similar wearable trinket, but it can take any form you choose. As an action you can activate the shard causing it to transform into armored gauntlets on you, or meld into ones you are already wearing. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes and cannot be used again until you complete a short or long rest. The gauntlets count as a simple weapon that adds an additional 1d4 bludgeoning damage to your unarmed attacks. Additionally your unarmed attacks counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. While transformed, the gauntlets also count as a spell focus for you.
The transformation ends if you have 0 hit points.
If you lose the shard, you can perform a 1-hour ceremony to receive a replacement from your patron. This ceremony can be performed during a short or long rest, and it destroys the previous shard. The shard vanishes into smoke when you die.
At 9th level, the duration becomes an hour.
At 18th level, this feature lasts until you dismiss it or take a rest, and you may use it any number of times.
Ps. This Pact Boon is accompanied by the following optional Invocations: Shard Transformation: Grieves, Shard Transformation: Grappling Hook, Shard Transformation: Spiked Gauntlets, Shard Transformation: Body Armor, Shard Transformation: Helmet, Shard Transformation: Full power, and Shard Transformation: Titian Buster.
*Shard Transformation: Spiked Gauntlets is built in, other invocations are separate feats due to limitations.
*Note: Add this feat to your character sheet and simply don't select/unselect a pact boon in the character creator.
