you have gained water bending through combining with an elemental.
you are only partially joined so you only manage to do very basic attacks with it as well as partial damage immunity damage immunity.
over time this bond increases causing you to level up.
swimming speed = 2/3 of your normal walking speed. eg human has 30 ft walking. with bending they have 20ft swimming.
