One day, when I was a kid, I was swimming around in the middle water area of the atoll and found something that isn’t normally there. It was a glowing cave-like thing that seemed to shimmer in and out of existence. The water there felt full of energy and there were plants and animals that I had never seen before and haven’t seen since. I've tried to figure out what that was and what happened but I could never seem to find it again. I haven’t been the same since.
- You have been granted the Fey Step trait. It can be used as a bonus action once per short rest to magically teleport up to 30ft. to an unoccupied space you can see.
- You can speak, read, and write Sylvan.
- Your fey ancestry has unlocked a fey power that helps you to move upon land. You can momentarily swim through the Feywild to shorten your path from one area of water to another. You learn the spell Create/Destroy water to aid in your teleportation. You can use your bonus action to open a portal between two areas of water, at least big enough to put both feet in, within sight. This portal can remain open for up to one minute and requires concentration to maintain.
