You have mastered using both strength and precision when using a one handed blade, granting you the following benefits:

You use both your Strength and Dexterity modifier additively to both your attack roll and damage roll, and you may choose your damage type of to be either slashing or piercing when making your attack.

All one handed blades count as having the finesse, monk and light properties for qualifying for other features

When a creature you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage the target takes by 1d10 + your proficiency bonus (to a minimum of 0 damage)
