"Water is the weakest element. Wait, water isn't even an element. What are you going to do, spray me down and call me a bad boy? HAHAHA" - Last words of some random low level bandit

The esoteric element that most of the universe denies is actually an element has chosen you to wield it. You gather hydro elemental energy from your surroundings, store it, and shape it to create various effects.

This feat is currently in beta testing and under review. It may change before v1. Please only use if you are comfortable with content that has not been thoroughly reviewed, or if you want to contribute to playtesting.

Questionable Physics

Hydro swirls around you, enhancing your weapon attacks to inflict Wet on hit. This is magic-infused water, and has additional properties on top of what water normally does. This also extinguishes mundane fires.

When resolving damage to a creature with Wet, if it includes lightning damage with a potential maximum sum of 25 or higher without this feature, this feature adds 1d4 lightning damage.

Creatures with Wet are wet. Wet can be removed by drying off, even by mundane means.

Creatures with any of these properties are immune to Wet:

  1. They are always wet or repel water
  2. They are made of water or fire
  3. They are incorporeal

Vaporize

When you hit with a weapon attack against a target which is ignited or burning, you can cause a powerful elemental reaction, consuming the burning status and Wet status (if any) to double your attack's damage. A large puff of pressurized water vapor expodes from the target in all directions, signaling that the reaction has occurred.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Advanced Sequencing Rules. While the official rules do not specify how additive and multiplicative modifiers interact, the intention is that this is a 2.0x multiplicative buff which prefers to be applied last. If you rule that multiplicative modifiers apply before additive modifiers, the multiplier is 2.5x instead. Round to even is recommended for dealing with fractional quantities.

Burning Status. While there is no burning condition in the core rules, the DM can rule that certain status effects count as burning for this feature. Being on fire should also count as burning. This is done to create compatibility with other material which may introduce burning-like effects.
