Loving Father

prerequisit: must be a good alignment and a loving father.

  • "What are your intentions with my...": You gain advantage on insight checks with people who are flirting, or being forward with another person you've called "Daughter, Kiddo, Son," etc.
  • Fatherly Praise: You shout words of encouragement to a creature that you can see within 60ft of you. If that creature knows you, can see and hear you, then they gain a 1d6 inspiration die. If that creature is a stranger who can see and hear you, then they gain a 1d4 inspiration die.
  • Dad Joke: As a bonus action you can tell a terrible pun or joke only a dad could love, it deals 1d4 psychic damage to any creature that is in 30ft earshot who can understand you. You get puns equivalent to your class level, the slots are regained after a long rest. Your DM has the right to lower the damage if your joke wasn't funny.
  • "Stern talking...": When someone does something that goes against your morals; like murder an innocent, or steal, you can use this feature instead of taking your next turn. You cross both your arms and frown sadly towards the target, you send out a wave of disappointment with the start of your talking. "listen here..." As you give the target a stern talking to, the target must make a Wisdom save equal to or higher than yours. On a failed save they spend their next turn doing nothing but thinking about their actions.
  • Fathers Protection: (can only be used if you have just fallen unconscious and haven't started death saves, or if you are unconscious but stable) If someone you love is within 20ft of you and are about to take critical damage or a fatal hit you can use this feature. You spring to life with 1hp and parry or block the incoming blow, negating the damage and saving you both. (does not work on AoE and is once per long rest)
