Prerequisite: Ability to cast at least 1 spell that requires an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw to be made
You have amplified your spell casting abilities and are able to improve the spells you cast. You have 5 uses of this ability that are regained once you finish a long rest, additionally you regain 1 use upon completing a short rest. When you cast a spell you can expend the number of uses listed of this ability to apply one of the following effects to the spell. (Comments are welcomed so this can be improved)
- (1 Use) When you cast a spell that forces a creature to make a saving throw you can increase your spell DC by 1 for the initial saving throw. Further saving throws do not gain this bonus.
- (1-3 Uses) When you cast a spell that requires a spell attack roll you can expend up to 3 uses of this ability to increase the roll by +1 per use expended. This can be done after you roll, but before you know whether the attack hit or missed.
- (1-3 Uses) When you cast a spell that requires you to make a spellcasting ability check, such as Dispel Magic or Counterspell you can expend up to 3 uses of this ability to increase the roll by +1 per use expended. This can be done after you roll, but before you know whether the check succeeded or failed
- (2 Uses) When you cast a spell that deals damage you can reroll any 1's or 2's on the damage dice, but you must use the new roll. This can be done after the dice are roll, but not more than once per spell.

I like it. I can't think of anything that would need to change, except that maybe it should be changed to:
Thanks for the feedback! Most non item abilities are gotten back after a long rest so thats why the way it is. Having it be an innate ability and recover at dawn can have a weird power curve if you are doing a predawn boss fight where you just use everything on the way to the boss and 1 hour later you just have everything back because the sun as risen. Do you think maybe the number of uses should be reduced to 4 instead? Or maybe only recovering on a long rest and not on a short one?
Would it take away from the ability too much to change it to 4 uses and recover 1d4 uses on a long rest? Alternately, you could just regain 2 uses after a long rest (still with 4 uses max).
