Be consumed by the Magatsu, gaining several passives and abilities.
Abilities
- Heat Riser (available at level 1, cantrip): If you roll a natural 20 on an attack or spell, a level 3 fireball laces the edge of your blade as you tear your foe apart. Add 8d6 fire damage to your already devastating blow.
- Magatsu Mandala (available at level 3): As a reaction, you manifest a scarlet, cylindrical vortex spanning a 10ft radius centered around yourself. Any hostile creatures within range must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, you can remove one status ailment or condition of your choice as the maelstrom expunges the affliction into the air. In addition, any creatures caught within the Mandala are hurled 10 feet in a direction you chose and are Frightened for one hour. At the end of each of their turns, an enemy can make a Wisdom saving throw to end this effect. On a successful save, the opponent is hurled 10 feet in a random direction (determined by the DM). Can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier per short rest; additionally, this ability may be used while Prone. At higher levels (levels 5 and 8), you can remove 2 and 4 ailments respectively, as well as increase the radius of the vortex.
- World’s End Rhapsody (available level 5): Your eyes darken as you assume a stance. You can teleport up to 120ft away from where you stand, but your armor and weapons stay frozen (Petrified) in the position you were in prior. Music flows from your remaining battle gear for up to 5 minutes, during which all entity creatures within 50ft must make a Charisma saving throw or be enraptured by the melody (Incapacitated, with a speed of 0). On a successful save, the creatures, unaffected by the music, will be hostile towards you unless previously affiliated. Any time during the duration, you can call your armor to your location, ending both the music and the condition.
Creatures with the deafened condition automatically succeed this saving throw.
