...do you hear that?... it's called a heartbeat... your heartbeat...

Your exposure to the Night Mother's magic has changed you, granting you the following benefits and detriments:

Aspects of Blood. As a free object interaction, you can coat one slashing or piercing weapon or up to three pieces of ammunition with an aspect of blood. The aspect disappears after 10 minutes once applied. Once you use an aspect, that aspect can't be used again until the next dusk. The damage from these aspects are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance(s).

  • Aspect of the Body. On your next attack, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or become sluggish and stone-like, causing the creature to be restrained until the end of your next turn.
  • Aspect of the Heart. On your next attack, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or take 3d8 acid damage, and it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn.
  • Aspect of the Mind. On your next attack, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Intelligence saving throw or take 2d8 psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction, if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit.
  • Aspect of Soul. On your next attack, the target must succeed on a DC 14 Charisma saving throw or take 2d8 force damage and has disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn.

Beauty of Annihilation. As a bonus action, you may choose to let the symbiote empower you. For one minute, when rolling any damage dice for your weapon attacks, you can reroll damage dice and use either total. This ability recharges at dusk.

Lullaby for a Deadman. As an action, you can increase your heartbeat and blood circulation and cause the symbiote to work quickly to repair the body of a creature you touch. The creature gains hit points equal to 1d8 + your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1). You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You will regain all charges of this ability at dusk.

Not Ready to Die. As a reaction, your symbiote may solidify and protect you in response to physical trauma. Until the start of your next turn, you have a +2 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack. You may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You will regain all charges of this ability at dusk.

Symbiotic Nature. The symbiote can't be removed from you, and you can't voluntarily end your attachment to it. If you're targeted by a spell that ends a curse, your attachment to the symbiote weakens for 24 hours, and it retreats further into your body. While weakened, you'll gain a level of exhaustion at the beginning of every 24 hours the connection remains weakened and you won't have access to any of the other abilities.

Vulnerability. While bonded to the symbiote, you have vulnerability to thunder damage and this damage cannot be reduced in any way. You also have disadvantage on saving throws made against spells that deal thunder damage. If you are brought to 0 hit points by thunder damage, then you will gain disadvantage on the following death saving throws.
