As you enter the tavern after a long day of traveling through the woods, relieved to have found a place to rest for the night, you hear a sudden Clank! As the door shuts behind you. The barkeep, a tired-looking old half-orc, sighs and points to the sign which stands to your left.
It reads:
Welcome to the Accursed Flagon
Sorry about this, but there’s no way to leave. Believe us, we’ve tried. It seems this place is cursed. The windows and walls are indestructible, the ground can’t be damaged, the ceiling can’t be broken, and no one seems to age at all.
Fortunately, the tavern seems to have an endless supply of food, drink, and board. Do what you like: talk with other residents, drink, eat, sleep. Everything is free here. Just don’t kill anyone.
All stars fade. Some stars forever fall. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Homebrew (Mostly Outdated):Magic Items,Monsters,Spells,Subclasses ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If there was no light, people wouldn't fear the dark.
"Are you sure there's no way out?" the wiry halfling asks, tugging at the door. "I have places to be. Things to do." He seems to attempting to console himself.

*Well, I guess I'll join in, since I have nothing better to do.*
A very strange undead walks into the tavern, with spectral limbs replacing the left arm, left leg, and right foot. It has a backpack on, and carries a mace and a shield. A holy-looking amulet hangs around its neck. "What's going on here?" it asks, sounding almost human.

"Abomination? Oh, right. Sorry, I keep forgetting I look like this. My name is Tzungy, and no, I am not an undead monster. I died roughly 475 years ago, I think, and came back to life pretty recently. I don't remember much of my past life. That's the gist of my backstory. If you have any more questions about me, please feel free to ask."

"We're pretty sure it's a way out."
"Way out? You mean we're stuck here!?"
"You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave. I'm Szym, not that it really matters, anymore."
