Welcome, weary traveler.

It looks like you've been moving about the forums for quite some time. You've got quite the collection of characters. RPing in taverns, perhaps? Feeling a bit drained? Come, sit by the fire. Rest for a while, regain your strength. Take as much time as you need before you set off again.

Journeying through the Kitchens of Adohand and the Realms Beyond can be tiring at times: I'm sure we've all felt a bit burnt out from time to time. This spot is just a little respite from the action for those who need it. You can chat with the others by the fire, if you'd like, but don't feel pressured to if you'd rather just rest. We've got plenty of firewood and snacks to spare.

This place isn't a tavern, but we do have a few rules:

That's all I have to say. I'll keep the fire lit and step in if needed, and I may check in from time to time, but I'm taking a slightly more hands-off approach to things here. Get some good rest, travelers, and good luck on your journeys through the Forums.

Two men are sat by the fire, relaxing. One of them, a half-elf, in his fifties, is dressed in tattered clothes, and the other, a sixty-something-year-old human, is in a white tuxedo. They seem to be getting on just fine. 'Man, am I glad we got a break'

'Yeah. You could say it was tiring, having to chase you across the Threads. And playing the villain kind of gets old after a while'

A massive, plant-like creature rests next to Flint. He’s nursing a mug of orange juice and singing quietly to himself.

“Ship in the stars, tavern with legs, soldiers in lines and ale in kegs,”

“Sulfur and brimstone, shelves stocked by Yon . . .”

“How young we were in those old tavern days. How young we were in those old travellin’ days . . .”

Shambler smiles, a little self-consciously. “Sorry, mate. Music isn’t really my strong suit.”

'Oh, hey there. Didn't expect to see you again. And that sure is a good song! I was there for a couple of them'

'Sulfur and brimstone? What was that place? Sounds like somewhere I would have liked'

“The Brimstone Tavern, silly!” The plant-creature yawns. “Never saw it myself, due to my unique composition, but a place like that tends to attract attention. If not from you, than one of your compatriots.”

A young Tiefling is sitting by the fire, humming.

'Hey there' the two men say, simultaneously

"Hello."

'You here on a break too?'

A very old man with silver hair and a large beard stops to sit by the fire as well.

A reasonably pretty woman with long dark hair wearing a simple forest green dress with a lute slung across her back comes in and sits down by the fire.

An incredibly pale man in glasses, a green overcoat, and a dark red plaid scarf walks up to the side of the fire. He rests upon a staff.

The ragged guy is eating takeaway noodles, and the tuxedo guy has set up a BBQ over the fire. He likes BBQ, though out in his job on the Threads, he would never admit it
