My level 9 artillerist is showing the force cannon mode of the eldritch cannon as 3d8+5. I can't find where the plus five is coming from. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I believe its how DND Beyond is programmed with showing attacks. You don't actually get a plus 5.
