Scribe wizard 2, celestial lock 6, red draconic sorc 6, can get some serious mileage out of magic missile by changing the damage to fire and getting +cha twice to the damage roll.

Well, the artificer can make commons and uncommons for half price and 1/4 time, combined with scribe wizard could for 1/4 gold cost and 1/8 time, you could mass produce low level spell scrolls as a artificer 10/scribe 6

Yeah, the Scribes wizard used to be the Archivist, an Artificer subclass back when it was in UA (https://media.wizards.com/2019/dnd/downloads/UA-Artificer2-2019.pdf). I think it's a really cool multiclass combo. It could be flavored as a librarian of sorts, or maybe as a mentor for a wizard PC.

Not sure you can add the Cha twice. Fighter/Barbarian can't add their strength twice. It should not stack.
well fighter and barbarian can’t double stack strength on weapons because adding strength to a weapon isn’t a class feature, it’s a basic rule of the game. Adding +cha to spell damage is a subclass feature for both class, and since there is no rule saying you can only add a modifier once to spell damage, I don’t think there is any problem with it

About the time/gold reduction for scribing spells or the bonuses to magic missile? Churning out cheap low level spell scrolls would be a fun character idea, you could start a business selling arcane lock scrolls to homeowners, but then sell knock scrolls to thieves. Or arm a small army with magic missile or thunder wave. As for my magic missiler idea, it’s not too game breaking considering you’re changing the damage to fire(which is worse than force) and that a Hexblade 1, evoker 10 can do it sooner and with better spellcasting.

Unpopular opinion No. 47: I preferred the Order of the Scribe when it was actually the Artificer subclass The Archivist. Hands down more fun and less a scroll maker with a book flavoured familiar.

Don't get me wrong I loved it as an artificer with each subclass having their own crafting specialties but with the current artificer I believe that it being a wizard subclass fits better.
can we all apreciate how sad it is that the sped up crafting times for artificers is now an level 10 abillity and restircted to uncommon and common magic items?

I think it's pretty balanced. I would like a later level ability for higher-rarity items, though.

yeah its kind of weird that you spend 20 levels learning to make magic items, and then a monk who’s never even use a magic item is as good at making +3 armor as you are

Not sure how the new wiz relates to artificer?
or is it just the neatness of scrolls paired with Artificer's creation stuff too?

Oh thats true. could be fun. Not sure how effective...
but that would make a fantastically interesting NPC too

It would be a fun character, especially if you went with the charlatan background or something similar that is thief related.

I personally think it should be like every 3-5 levels get the next level in rarity.
