For functionality, it is good to make card for your Wizard's spells. If you want to make a decorative one, you can just find an old book and paint it or decorate it (that's what I do), but you can also make a legit one with the spells written down in it, just do whatever you want. :)
If you have access to a printer, use the Word format for index cards, I think there are 8 per page. You can put a spell on each card. It will take a lot of copy/paste, but will be worth it. You can print them on the index card sheets that you get at the store, the thick paper with perforated blocks, or print on regular paper, gluestick to construction paper for better durability, and maybe laminate. If laminated, you can use a wet erase marker to make notes for the session or when the spell is used.
I've heard of people creating spellbooks for their characters. How do people go about doing this? Print each spell? Use cards and card binders?

Add jewels to the book as well to personalize it a bit more
