So after recently starting d&d with some mates at the age of 34, it has started to become somewhat of an obsession. After continuously loosing dice on the floor we decided to make some dice towers and was wondering what people thought of them, and if there could possible be a market for them?
Have also just realised I cant post pictures here so if anyone can link me to somewhere I can post that would be great 🙂
I haven't tried dice rolling towers and don't really feel compelled to do so. Dice towers feel like they take the fun out of rolling. That being said, I've learned not to yeet my dice across the table because everyone stares at you once it starts bouncing across the floor of the entire games store. A good middle ground would be a dice box to roll into, but you run into the possibility of cocked die. I wonder if anyone's made dice bowls just to avoid that.
I almost always use a dice tower and dice tray for rolling.
I'm particular about fair rolls, and dice towers when used in conjunction with a dice tray that forces the dice to come to a stop is making a big difference. It mitigates/negates even larger imbalances in the dice used.
As for a market, yes there is a market for that sort of thing.
However, I believe that market is already quite saturated. Not only for commercial purchase, but also for DYI.
Try to search for "Dice Tower" on Etsy, Amazon, Kickstarter, or for DYI on YouTube...

You can post pictures. You can copy paste them, or upload them to Imgur.
