I recently was told that Wizkids has discontinued their pre-painted line of minis for D&D and Pathfinder and replacing them with the Marvelous Miniatures and Deep Cuts lines. Is this true? While I do love the beautiful sculpts of these unpainted minis as well as the amazing price point I can't paint worth a damn and prefer the pre-painted look. I'll still buy the new ones but just want confirmation since my Google-fu has failed me.
I don't know. But all of the Paizo versions of minis I have from Wizkids are much better than the WOTC versions, so maybe it's a good thing? I don't really think that because I like to see as many available as possible, but it is a definite thing that I've noticed.

There have been no official announcements of any lines being discontinued, so I would say this is not true. It certainly makes zero business sense for WotC, Paizo, and WizKids to cancel a successful product line and replace it with a relatively new one.
I am actually trying to sell all my pre-painted minis. I actually have not looked into the unpainted minis (apart from the Gale Force 9 sets), I think that's good though. Tbh painting is one of the best hobbies and it definitely brings people together.
I don't think Wizkids would discontinue the pre-painted minis over the unpainted ones. afaik the unpainted miniatures aren't randomized, and the blindbags are essentially the bread & butter of the miniatures line.
They MIGHT be discontinuing the Attack Wing line. I haven't heard anything specifically saying this, but they also haven't released anything in a long time. They have been steadily releasing their normal pre-painted lines for WotC and Paizo, and seem to be continuing to release products for that.
The March 30th Dragon Talk podcast would certainly point to that claim being false. The a new Icons of the Realm Monster Menagerie 2 was released in January 2017. A new Epic Level Starter Set was just announced a couple weeks ago to be released soon.
It is most likely false. The fact they have contracts with both WotC and Paizo is a rare opportunity for a company. The only possible way that the lines are getting discontinued is if WotC & Paizo are moving to a different company and not renewing any agreements. Given its unlikely (I would say very unlikely, but WotC & Paizo aren't exactly enemies and have friends among themselves) that both companies would drop their agreements with Wizkids, I'd lean toward not likely.
Also I'm going to take a hunch and say the Pre-painted D&D/Pathfinder miniatures are essentially the highest revenue earners for WizKids at this point in time. I might be wrong as this is just an educated guess, but I think demand for their other products has been shrinking over the years.
I just wish they were easier to get here in the UK, what few are avaiable from amazon are double the US price or worse, far far above what the currency exchange rate should really make them, the price is the only reason I can't recommend them to UK players unless it's the fixed packs........
