I plan to take Aura of Vitality with additional magical secrets next level and want to have a song to flavor it. I think something soothing and light, so not Dr. Feelgood or Alive.
I'll look around but I'd appreciate any suggestions anyone can give. Bonus points if the song has a great guitar riff.
"I Feel Better" by Gotye is an underrated song that offers that "positive vibe".
"Mr. Blue Sky' isn't exactly clever or accurate...but it's uplifting.
Poets of the Fall is a band that manages to mix "soothing and light" while also being melodic & ROCK...perhaps "Rogue" if you're looking for a nice, long guitar track.
"Paradise City" by Guns & Roses has that smooth opening riff...come to think of it, "Patience" might be the perfect song by them, what with that mellow whistling...oh, and "November Rain".
Bon Jovi..."These Days" is kind of my favorite song by them; and doesn't get the same radio-play as the others, so hey...might be a fresh song for people to hear.

Well, for a guitar riff and a pump up the volume feel, it's hard to beat Sweet Home Alabama.

Thanks for the suggestions, these are pretty good songs I may try to work them in. I think for Aura of Vitality I'm going with Everybody Hurts by REM
