I am a new DM using this site in combination with the all the physical books to help myself as well as my players create characters and I noticed that the Character Creator as well as the Race section under the Characters tab seems to be missing Forest Gnomes. Is there a reason for this or is it a bug or oversight? Asking out of curiosity mostly.
I have the master Tier Subscription and I still do not have access to forest gnomes.
Subscriptions do not give you access to books you do not own. In order to access Forest Gnomes, you have to purchase the book or the race from the marketplace.
I also find forest gnomes to be missing and I've purchased all of the books as well as have a paid master subscription.
Try to clear the cache of your browser.
If this is not something that you are familiar with, you can find useful guides here on how to do this for most current browsers.
If, after clearing your browser cache, you are still unable to access content that you have purchased, please contact the support team, who will be able to assist you further.

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.
