I do but that shouldn't have any effect on that field, or homebrew in general. Currently if you select a modifier type of feat the subtype becomes mandatory but there are no choices to be made. This is also true for Weapon Property, Spell Slot Increase, and Replace Damage Type.
Change Damage type currently only lets you change to Radiant Damage. would be nice to have all options opened up and also to be able to customize the base weapon die number and type. Instead of being forced to choose an existing weapon.
I just came to the forums to see if I was missing how to create a homebrew item that adds a feat... and I agree. This solution is sub-optimal. I assume it is a stop-gap while they attempt to fix the underlying issue.

Do you have the PHB in DDB?
I see. All right, I am reporting this.
Yeah I have the same issue for Spell Slot Increase
I have the same problem. I am trying to add the finesse property to a weapon, but the modifier subtype menu is blank and does not accept manual entry.

Apparently they removed the feat and spell slot increase from the list with the latest update (they re-did the entire list).
That wasn’t the solution I was hoping for...
