was adding a new race. i forgot something and deleted the old copy. but now i cant switch the old one out on the race page 

If you're switching from a homebrew race and the homebrew race has nothing in the required snippet field, this bug will happen. Edit the old homebrew if it's one you own and make sure all fields have something in them.

I went in and fixed the potential problem. but i still cant swap the race

If you're unable to click the change race button it's usually because you've turned on the optional Customise Your Origin feature. Turn that off and you should be able to click the button again.
