I'm working on a custom race and no matter what I do, even when I follow the layout of a template exactly, when I try to prove teh option to choose a language, no such option actually displays. Everything looks identical in the homebrew builder. I must be missing something but I don't know what. any help would be appreciated.
A screenshot of how you have set it up would help. It's also possible you just need to wait 15 mins for the changes to push through (there is a bit of a delay sometimes).
This looks correct. If you save at the top level, it should show up, and if not, wait until it does. (It also sometimes gets the sheet to refresh quicker if you hit the Inspiration field twice then F5.)
As soon as a piece of homebrew is added to a character, then it's cached in the character service, to reduce load.
In practical terms, this means that when you make changes to some homebrew that's already been used on a character, it can take 10-15 minutes before the change is visible.

I did not wait at all, so maybe that's the problem. here's a screenshot, though perhaps you need to see another section...
