What may be happening is that you are using the 2024 version of the Warlock class, but that subclass (being one that predates the 2024 updates) is referencing the 2014 version of Bigby's Hand. Since that spell is not in the 2014 version of the free Basic Rules, you need to own the 2014 Player's Handbook to access it, and you need to have "2014 Core Rules" checked on the Home tab of the character builder.
And it should be its part of the player handbook and im on a campaign with a dm with most of the books.
The issue is that it comes with the caviat (only in the form of a tentacle) and I believe that dnd beyond may be looking for that full term of bigbys hand (only in the form of a tentacle) instead of the proper spell name due to bad programing
I am not sure what you mean by "that full term of bigbys hand instead of the proper spell name". The full name of the spell in 5e is "Bigby's Hand".
If you set the character's privacy setting to public and post the link to it here, I'm happy to take a look at it and see if I can figure out what's going on.
As per my first reply yes, my dm has most of the books including players hand book. I wouldnt be able to be a fathom warlock fire genasi without my dm having most of the books.
I have a 9th level fathomless warlock and several spells are missing from the spells I can know
Specifically dnd beyond does not let me have bigbys hand, a spell given by said subclass. How do I add it?
I just looked on an old Fathomless warlock I had. Leveled them up to 9, and Bigby's Hand appears just fine on their list of knowable spells

Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
The full term is "Bigbys hand (in the form of a tentacle)"
As in that whole clause is one type line. I think dnd beyond is trying to search for the whole phase rather than the actually spell Bigbys hand
Ah, I see. Putting quotes around it does make it actually possible to understand.
However, I don't think that's the issue, as I was able to create a 2014 Warlock with this subclass and the spell appeared in the list I can learn from just fine. The "(appears as a tentacle)" is just part of the text of the subclass description; it doesn't have anything to do with how the spells are associated with the subclass.
Do you actually own the 2014 Player's Handbook? If you don't, and it's just being shared with you through a campaign, you need to be making the character in that campaign to see stuff from the 2014 Player's Handbook.
The spells are not added by interpreting the text in that table. If you're not seeing Bigby's Hand, it's because you don't have access to that spell in that campaign. This is working as intended.
Imagine you've purchased a physical copy of TCOE, and you've got the pages that says a Fathomless Warlock has those spells. You then need to also have the 2014 PHB to actually get the details for the spells themselves. On D&D Beyond, most of those spells are included in the free Basic Rules, so you can use those ones even without the PHB. Bigby's Hand simply isn't one of those spells -- at least not under that name. You could make a homebrew copy of that subclass and switch it to Arcane Hand if you prefer.

Have you purchased the 2014 PHB? Or is your character assigned to a campaign where that spell is shared with you?
