Can't Add Booming Blade to an Elf or through Magic Initiate. Also, Fighting Intiate doesn't work.

I have both sourcebooks Booming Blade appears in yet I cannot add the Cantrip to Elves, and i also cannot add the cantrip via Magic Initiate.
My player is playing a Swashbuckler Elf and would like to use the Booming Blade Cantrip.

Also, the Fighting Initiate Feat doesn't work. It's supposed to let you pick a Fighting Style, but it gives no such option when selected.

I've already tried signing out and signing back in, this hasn't fixed the issues.

Post a link to the character so a mod may take a look at it.

Make sure you actually own Sword Coast's Adventure Guide or Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and not just the compendium content. Owning only the compendium content does not unlock options in the character builder. Check your account's marketplace page and scroll all the way down until you can see that you have the license for one of the books. While you are on that page, make sure your entitlements are also in sync.

If you do find the license but you still cannot access the spell in the character builder, then I would wait for a mod to respond or you can contact support. Please note that support may be very busy right now due to the recent holidays, issues regarding TCOE, and COVID, so do not expect a swift reply. It may take one to two weeks or more depending on how many people are before you.

 Do you have access to either Tasha's Guide to Everything or Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide? If not, then that's why you don't have access to the spell.

Luckily, you can purchase just Booming Blade by itself in the individual purchase options for SCAG for cheap.

I have it.

Make sure your entitlements are in sync. Mine weren't when I just checked in order to copy the link for you, so yours might need syncing too.
