So tried making my own varient of the varient tielfing and trying to make an ability that replaces inflernal legacy but cannot find an option if the racial traits for varient races for this racial trait replaces one in the core race it just lists them both together. Am I missing a key option somewhere or is this currently a side effect of the way the system is currently programmed?

When making the variant race make sure "Is Variant" is checked on the main edit page. Then, when adding a racial trait, it should have an option to replace one of the traits of the parent race.
