Result: As far as I can see there is no way to just simply remove a avatar. This is a bit awkward in some cases. I for example uploaded a random image while testing the feature. But that image doesn't conform to the image usage rules and I don't have anything I could replace with it. So that created monster is now stuck with that image. If I wanted to publish it I would have to duplicate the monster and effectively created it again which is a hassle. A method to remove avatars from the homebrew monster creation would be handy.
I am running into the same problem. My creation was rejected because of a copywritten image used as an avatar, yet I cannot remove the image. Guess my only option is to make it again without the avatar image

Repro Steps:
1. Go to Monster > Create a Monster
2. Upload a random image as a avatar
3. Try to remove that avatar (not replace it)
