I think all compendium's are priced at $19.99. That being said, how the marketprice normally works is if you buy $4.99 from one source, then the legendary bundle, as well as the price of the full book, goes down by $4.99 as well. So I believe that if you bought the Compendium, then the entire sourcebook would be unlocked as well. Seems like a sleight oversight, but I don't think it makes a big difference.
This impacts it as making it pointless to buy the compendium only as you might as well purchase the full sourcebook. Hoard of the Dragon Queen is also $19.99 for the full sourcebook, but the compendium only price is $14.99.

Ohhhhh. Gotcha.I understand now. I thought all compendiums were $19.99, which would make it just like the rest. In that case, I do believe that RoT compendium should also be $14.99, UNLESS RoT provides MUCH MORE content than HotDQ, in which case, you might as well purchase the full book instead of compendium.
The topic has been marked as resolved, but the pricing hasn't changed even after clearing cache. If the pricing is correct, why offer a compendium content only option?
Lol don't know why it's resolved. But if there is $20.00 worth of content, then buying the compendium unlocks the book anyways. It's actually a good thing in that case.

That was the agreed upon pricing structure set by WotC. HotDQ has been priced this way since the site launch on 8/15/17. And yes, in the case of this module, it obviously makes more sense to buy the full source.
The price of the full sourcebook is displayed at $19.99, while looking at the compendium only price, that is also $19.99.
