Edit Racial Trait Option for Divine Draconic Ancestry
My DM has created a new draconic ancestry or two for the Dragonborn. I have dubbed them the divine draconic ancestries. They are those dragonborn who are the blessed of Paladine/Bahamut & Takhisis/Tiamat respectively. When attempting to create these as a new race (the best way I could think to integrate them into the character creation process), I ran into a problem. I started off with the race of dragonborn as the base that I was editing and then was going to go into the racial traits and "fix" them as appropriate. However, when I try to edit a bit and then save it, it just reverts back to base.
Add options to a racial trait, such as the different dragon colors for the Breath Weapon racial trait for Dragonborn.
In the above example I'm trying to have it become something like Radiant Brass or Platinum (Brass subtype) or something like that but it's not happening.
Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong or a better way to do this or a tutorial that I'm missing or <insert thing I'm missing here>?

Trying to make a few changes but I'm in the VERY early stages b/c of the hiccough I seem to be running into. Phase 1: Desired outcome is to have a total of 6 Draconic ancestries from which to choose. One will be Chromatic which will carry with it the option to choose the type of breath weapon delivered (either at will or by the day or some such). The other (?)5 will be Radiant variants of metallic dragon types with accordant changes to breath weapon type.

It was me copying & pasting what was on my screen (maybe I should have done a screenshot like a friend of mine later suggested) just before (or maybe it was just after now, it's been about a week I can't remember properly now) the "problem" occurred. Specifically I was trying to change the options listed underneath the racial trait of Draconic Ancestry (or in mine *divine* draconic ancestry).

I recommend adding an action to your race trait and copying al the damage and stats onto it just with the different damage type.
