I recently received the Mac-Fuirmidh Cittern. Is there a way I can add it to my equipment?
Update: I figured out that I would need to unlock the Dungeon Master's Guide, but (1) I'm not a DM, (2) $30 is a lot to pay just to be able to add one item, and (3) I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to pay $30 anyway.
So do you have any advice for the best way to manually add it?
If you scroll down on the Store page for the Dungeon Master's Guide, you'll see that you can purchase the Magic Items a la carte for $1.99 apiece (or $12.99 for all of them). You can just buy the Instrument of the Bards item, which contains the Mac-Fuirmidh Cittern for $1.99 if you wish.

If you don't want to drop $2, you can enter it yourself in the Homebrew tools (just make sure not to publicly publish it because it is an existing item). The Homebrew tools aren't extremely intuitive, but I'm sure the folks over in the Homebrew subforum can help you out, and here's a thread with an FAQ: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/dungeons-dragons-discussion/homebrew-house-rules/131411-a-homebrewers-how-to-faq
Hope that helps!
Oh! I didn't see that. Thanks for pointing it out!
