Just noticed that if you try to create a homebrew monster and choose either ALL or ELEMENTAL, the Water Weird does not appear as a choice to use as a base monster.

Hm, Water Weird appears for me on that menu under "ALL" but not under Elemental. That seems like a bug.
If it is not appearing under "All" for you -- have you purchased the Monster Manual?

Not related, but how did you include a screenshot? I can't seem to upload a picture that doesn't have a URL?

Okay, now this is super weird. I thought I was going crazy.
MellieDM, if I go to create a monster (and yes I have the MM), and choose ALL, I do see Water Weird.
BUT... if I go to ELEMENTAL I do not see Water Weird... and if I go back to ALL after having previously chosen ELEMENTAL, the ALL list suddenly has a lot fewer entries, and doesn't have Water Weird.

Whoa. That is really weird. I think the moderators will have to take a look at that. It's a bug for sure

Oh snap, that's a really strange bug. Interesting!
