I have bought a lot of partial content but spells that are in the Players handbook and in the Basic rules are not showing up as spells allowed to be added to my characters (so far found on wizard lists silence is an example).
I just caught this topic. I am having the same issue. I would like to import Fire Bolt onto my sheet and it is not available to add from the Basic Rules sourcebook. I found a homebrew one I can add but if the sourcebook is free, why can we not access the spells?
1. What class is your character? Fire Bolt is only available for sorcerers, wizards, and artificers. Or are you trying to access it through a feat? 2. If you're trying to add it as one of your class-known cantrips, have you already hit the limit?
Where are you looking when you say you can't see it? Are you in the character builder or the sheet? If none of these answer your question, please provide a link to your character sheet.

Silence is not a wizard spell. Any other examples?
Not all spells in the PHB are free to use, only the spells in basic rules.
I have purchased the Players Handbook if that wasn't clear.
