Is there a reason why you can't use the Acquisition's Incorporated Magic Items as a template when developing your own homebrew magic items? I have tried to find the Spyglass of Clairvoyance and Cartographer's Map Case to see how they are implemented as a magic item (and how the map case handles two different actions, each with their own reset), but they don't appear as templates.
I assume so. I'm able to view everything in the source without getting a popup telling me to buy it, and I am able to view the magic items in the magic item search.

Do you own the source? Homebrew templates are only based on content you own, not content shared with you.
