Hi, I am trying to add the Dual Wielder feat to a homebrew dagger. I've added a Modifier - Feat - Dual Wielder, and I've equipped the item. Everything else works including a custom spell built into it, but the feat is not added to my character. Any ideas?
I'm new to homebrewing and thought I was doing something wrong. Glad to know it wasn't user error!
I have the same concern that Apoptosis has about the feat remaining on the character sheet once an item is unattuned and/or removed. Some of the abilities in my custom feats aren't something a workaround could grant (e.g. immediately detect a lie once per day).
Glad it's not just me having problems. Was sure I'd mucked something up! Such a shame the bug hasn't been fixed yet - it'd be a great addition to custom items!
June 26, 2021. Issue still persists. Unable to add a homebrew feat to a homebrew item via the modifiers menu and feat dropdown. Feat dropdown shows standard feats and no homebrew 24 hours after creation.
As it looks like this function is not working where do I find the tools or training to duplicate adding the Heavy Armor Master feat abilities to a suit of plate. Especially the 3 HP reduction in none magical slashing, piercing, or bludgeoning damage. Thanks.

Has anyone figured this one out? I just wanted to note that the item is attuned properly.
Did you ever find a work around for this?
I know I can just add the Feat via the Manage Feats option, but then if I unattune or stow the item, I'll still have the feat...
The modifier to grant a feat doesn't seem to work currently - your better bet is to grant the same abilities that the feat would grant.

Is there any news on this?
I'm also trying to have an item grant Feats, particularly the Elemental Adept (Fire) and another one for Resilient (CON).
UP! This still doesn't work, right? It does not work for me.

Still not working for me, in any case. Looks pretty low on the bug fix list.
I was just trying to do this recently myself. Glad to know it wasn’t just me.

Yeah, although the more people complain, the more likely it is that someone, who can actually act upon it, will take notice. :)

BUMP to DnDBeyond. still inoperable as of now
I could have sworn this was working but now my item is not granting mobile feat.
Still doesn't work. I tried to make a plate without the disadvantages. Even if I try to work around the feat and add mods it doesn't work.
Kinda sad that this isn't working since 2 1/2 years..

Still an issue! It would be really great to get this fixed.
