I am a user of the DND beyond app. It's mainly how I use the forums, besides when I go on browser for special text (different colors, bold, etc, as the toolbar for it doesn't show in the forums when on mobile).

I was getting onto the forums, and I noticed a button on my menu to go into desktop view. I had never seen it before. I thought, "They added desktop view? Cool!" So, I clicked the button. 

Now the app is visually glitched out (see the image below), as well as me losing access to multiple buttons. While I can access the majority of things- collections, game rules, sources, tools, etc, I can see but can't tap the buttons for the changelog, notifications, PMs and my profile. I want to go back to the app version, but I can't find any button that reverts desktop view. (I'm on a phone, if that helps.) Can anyone help?

I have the same problem. I can’t find a way to switch back and I can’t access private messages or notifications either.

I haven’t clicked the Desktop View button, but the articles on the front page of the site aren’t displaying normally and can’t be accessed. (They all display wider than the screen, with smaller fonts and with the same YouTube link to the new PHB summary video.)

I’m viewing the site via my iPhone. Everything appeared normal this morning.  

I just tried it out and yes, you get stuck.  There used to be a link way at the bottom of page to go back to mobile view but it seems to be gone.

I had to clear the cache and all storage and it seems to have gone back. 

Kind of a weird way to access the website though.   I had to go into a character, click Manage and then do levels for it to open the browser within the app. 

Seems a lot easier to just add a link to your phone screen to the website.  That would be quicker.

I do suppose if you don't back out of it it will stay in the browser when you click characters. 

Anyways, I hope my solution for getting back to the mobile view works for you. 

Feels like something has been implemented that’s affecting the mobile display. 

So there used to be a link at the bottom of the page leading you back from desktop but then they removed it or something? Or is it somewhere else now and I’m missing it? I’m assuming there’s some way to get back, it’d be weird if they added a one way feature like that.

Yeah, it is buggy.   The option for the Desktop View doesn't always show up either.

Hello! I'm just now noticing the Desktop View button on my phone (I completely scanned over it the first few times lol), and boy am I glad I didn't click it. What's happening to you guys sounds extremely inconvenient and annoying. Would you want me to try and help you out by seeing if there's a way to get back from Desktop while your phone isn't bugging?

 Updated: still the same odd display issues, but I’ve found I can get to the articles by clicking a tiny “read more” link. Took a while to spot that…

 I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I use the app regularly and I'd prefer not to have it permanently glitched out like this. Yes, a shortcut to the website would work, but I just like the app I guess.

 For me, everything was normal before I clicked desktop view. I'm not on IPhone, tho.

Sorry for updating so late: I just uninstalled and reinstalled the app and yes, that disables desktop mode.
