I created a magic item called the flask of wondrous potions. Basically its a potion like a wand of wonder. I made a copy of the wand of wonder as a starting point and changed out most of the things it can do.
However, I want it to require attunement with no limitations that everyone can attune. However, the character I gave it to a Dwarven, Cleric can't attune it and I can't figure out why. Nothing in the attunement notes say wizard required. I was wondering if anyone might know where the wizard flag is so I can make it possible for anyone to attune it.
Hi All,

Hi there Mehrkat,
the only limitations on attunement for an item is a "free text" field, where it's down to the user to determine that they have met the requirements.
Can you link the character please, so a moderator can take a look?

Really sorry, I should have asked to start with - can you link the item as well please?
* insert grumble about it currently being too warm to think straight *

not a biggie I should have thought of that too.
I figured it out - to attune to an item, that item needs to be equipped first.
Potions can't be equipped.
If you change the item type from "potion" to "wondrous item" then it will work.
A little odd.
