Previously I could search up and add my private creations to my characters just fine, but it seems lately the only custom items that come up are the ones I've published. Homebrew is turned on for the character, but the item is no where to be found outside of the My Creations page.

can you check that the homebrew is in your collection as well as your creations page.
If it's not, you can add it from the creations page by viewing the homebrew there.
