I just got the obojima for me and my group and though it be fun to allow people to change out their subclasses and what not. Sadly it seems while partnered content for species works with 2024, subclasses dont. Why is that?
I understand that, but im more asking why arnt they available, not so much asking why arnt they made for 2024?2024 is backwards compatible with all of the official 2014 products, so why not the partnered content as well? I can play the 2024 barbarian with a 2014 subclass, and even a partnered race, but cant do the same with the partnered subclasses.
What is the difference between the species and subclasses to where I can use partnered species, backgrounds, and items, but for some reason I can't use the partnered subclasses with the 2024 classes.

Because there's an incompatibility with how 2014 and 2024 classes level into their subclasses. All 2024 classes choose their subclass at level 3, while 2014 classes may start at level 1 with them (clerics, warlocks) or get them at level 2 (wizards).
Our partnered creators would have to rework their stuff to fit the new progressions.
EDIT: also I've relocated your thread to Bugs & Support, as only release threads are meant to go in the forum you posted in.

It is up to the partner in question if they want to update their content to the 2024 rules—we don't make that decision for them.

Do you think you could pin this thread? This question has come up a lot lately and there's often people demanding an official source for the answer.
